From Zero to Automated in 10 Minutes

This guide walks you through connecting ShowingTime, mapping your CRM fields, and configuring your first follow-up sequence — step by step.

Before you start
· An active ShowingTime account (any plan)· Admin access to your CRM (Follow Up Boss, kvCORE, or HubSpot)· Your Showing Signal account — pick a plan if you haven't yet
1

Connect ShowingTime

Showing Signal reads your ShowingTime event stream via a credential-based authorization — no API developer key required on your end.

a
In your Showing Signal dashboard, go to Connections → ShowingTime.
b
Enter your ShowingTime login email and password. These are stored encrypted and used only to read your event feed.
c
Click Verify Connection. Showing Signal will confirm it can read your upcoming showings and you'll see a green "Connected" status.
Why we need this: ShowingTime doesn't offer a public webhook. Showing Signal uses a secure polling connection to your account's event feed — your credentials are encrypted at rest and never shared.
2

Map Your CRM Fields

Tell Showing Signal where to write showing data in your CRM. Supported at launch: Follow Up Boss, kvCORE, and HubSpot.

a
Go to Connections → CRM. Select your CRM from the list (Follow Up Boss, kvCORE, or HubSpot).
b
Paste in your CRM API key. Each CRM has a direct link to where to find it — click the "Where do I find this?" hint next to the field.
c
Review the default field map. Drag rows to remap any ShowingTime field to a different CRM property, including custom fields you've created.
Example field mapping — Follow Up Boss
showingtime.buyer_namefub.contact.full_name
showingtime.property_addressfub.deal.address
showingtime.showing_timefub.deal.custom_field_showing_dt
showingtime.agent_idfub.contact.assigned_agent

Configure Your Sequences

Set the timing, channel, and message content for every follow-up. The default sequence below fires for every confirmed showing — you can edit, clone, or add sequences anytime.

T+3 hrs
Email
Feedback request email with a one-click response form. Response updates your CRM deal stage automatically.
T+24 hrs
Email
Nurture follow-up if no response received. Optionally attach a comparable listing.
T+3 days
Email
Long-tail nurture: market update or new listing alert based on buyer's saved search criteria.
Cancellation handling: If a showing is cancelled or rescheduled, Showing Signal automatically pauses or re-anchors every queued step — nothing fires for a showing that didn't happen.
4
